Rest and Recovery Following Surgery
After the Clarivu procedure has been completed, you will be taken into our comfortable recovery suite, where you can relax, rest and enjoy some refreshments until you feel 100% ready to return home. Most Clarivu patients are ready to leave within an hour of the operation being completed.
It is a good idea to have a quiet evening at home and a good night’s sleep following the surgery, you will wake up feeling more comfortable and may be able to return to work, with a superb new quality of vision that doesn’t include glasses or contact lenses any more.
Clarivu’s Excellent Aftercare
You will see your Clarivu surgeon for a follow-up consultation in the first week after your procedure, this allows them to check on your progress and assess the results.
Most Clarivu patients can resume their everyday tasks within a few days of their surgery, although it is advisable to avoid activities which will be physically demanding during the early recovery stage. Your surgeon will discuss with you what you should and shouldn’t do in order to achieve the best possible results. You will be provided with drops to help your eye recover and will be given a 24-hour contact number for any aftercare queries.
